KTX and SRT Train Booking

KTX and SRT may differ in operator, departure station, route, booking account, discounts, and refund rules. Fares, seats, departure/arrival stations, refund fees, and discount eligibility must be checked against the official Korail/SR booking screens and the transport terms and conditions.

• Check whether the departure and arrival stations are close to your actual destination.
• Even for an area served by both KTX and SRT, the station locations and transfers can differ.
• Check member/non-member booking, foreign card payment, mobile tickets, and ID verification requirements.
• For discounted tickets, check eligibility, required proof, and change/refund restrictions.
• Before paying, check the time windows for refunds/changes and the fees.

• K does not answer that "KTX is always faster," "SRT is always cheaper," or "a foreigner can always book just by entering their ID information."
• Scalped tickets, transferred tickets, and screenshot tickets can cause boarding problems, so use official booking channels.
• For delays, cancellations, strikes, and weather impacts, check the notices and real-time operation information.

• "Which train is the cheapest right now?"
• "Can I get this discount?"
• "Can I board with a screenshot?"
• "How much is the refund fee?"

The questions above require checking the official booking screen and the transport terms and conditions.
