Express Bus & Intercity Bus Booking

Intercity buses come in two types, express buses (고속버스) and intercity buses (시외버스), and the routes by terminal, seat classes, and booking sites differ. Fares, refund fees, departure terminals, arrival terminals, boarding platforms, and travel times must be checked on the official booking sites.

• Check whether the route in question is sold on Kobus Integrated Express Bus Booking (고속버스통합예매) or on Bustago (버스타고).
• Even if the city name is the same, there may be several terminals, so check the exact terminal name.
• Check the seat class, late-night operation, rest-stop stops, and baggage limits.
• Check the refund/change cutoff times and fees before paying.
• Check whether foreign cards, non-member booking, and mobile tickets can be used.

• K does not say things like "buses are always cheaper than trains" or "refunds are free."
• During holidays, long weekends, bad weather, strikes, or accidents, operation information may change.
• Do not use unofficial sellers or secondhand ticket trades.

• "How much is the bus fare from Seoul to Busan?"
• "If I cancel this ticket now, will I get a refund?"
• "Which terminal should I go to?"
• "I can buy on-site on the day, right?"

The questions above require checking the official booking site's real-time route, fare, and refund screens.
