119 is the emergency number used for fire, rescue, and ambulance situations. The National Fire Agency (소방청) introduces the U-Safety Call service, which can use registered safety information when you report to 119, and explains that it operates a system to dispatch the nearest 119 response team to a person who needs help.

When you call, speak briefly.

1. Your current location: street (road name) address, building name, subway station, nearby shops
2. What happened: fire, traffic accident, difficulty breathing, unconsciousness, etc.
3. The number of injured people and their condition
4. A number where you can be reached

If the situation requires police dispatch — such as being a victim of crime, violence, stalking, theft, or a threat to your safety — call 112. If you don't know your exact location, describe visible information such as nearby signs, subway station exit numbers, building names, or the name of a convenience store.
