Which Korean sentence got you stuck at a government office?

The Korean you need at a counter is not the Korean any textbook teaches.
You can be fine ordering food and still freeze when someone at the immigration office or the district office asks you one question you have never heard before — and there is a queue behind you.
I want to build a list of those exact moments.
Tell us:
- Where you were — immigration office, district office (주민센터), bank, hospital, phone shop
- The sentence you didn't understand, as close as you can remember it. Romanised is completely fine.
- What it turned out to mean, if you found out later.
I will take what shows up here and add the phrases into the relevant guides, so the next person reads them before standing at that counter instead of after.
