When finding a hospital or pharmacy in Korea, you should first check official lookup channels rather than advertisements, reviews, or recommendations from foreigner communities. The Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (건강보험심사평가원) provides public services such as finding hospitals and pharmacies, finding medical institutions by detailed conditions, non-covered (non-급여) treatment cost information, and treatment cost verification requests. The National Health Insurance Service (국민건강보험공단) also operates institution lookup and National Health Insurance civil complaint channels.
